The William Woods Hunter/Jumper Show Team presents a Diane Carney Clinic on Friday and Saturday, September 20-21, 2014.
Time to be determined

Diane Carney is a professional horsewoman located in Chicago.  She has successfully shown from California to Florida, achieving Grand Hunter championships and Grand Prix victories. She has competed at the International level, winning classes at Spruce Meadows on both hunters and show jumpers since 1990.

As a volunteer for the USHJA, Diane hosts many riding clinics across the United States.  She is also involved in the Zone 5 College Scholarship awarded annually to well deserving college-bound junior riders.  Making the connection between horsemanship and higher education is a priority for Diane.

The principles of riding from leg, seat and hand are the focus of every clinic, as the basics of flat work are the keys to success with all riders and horses.  “Discipline with a sense of humor” has been the phrase most often used to describe Diane’s presentations.  Hard work with a positive outcome is the goal of her teaching.

Diane’s clinic is being offered by the William Woods Hunter/Jumper Show Team and will be held at the William Woods University stables in Fulton, MO.

Stabling is limited, and is on first come, first served basis.
