Horse Show Membership Information & Application (see below)

Horse Show Series Fees – The regular show fee is required for the first horse show in a series. Subsequent horse shows are allowed a $10 discount per horse show for Two Day, Three Day and more shows only. There is no discount for One Day shows. Under no circumstance will shows be granted recognition after competition has been held. It is strongly recommended that all fees and applications be submitted no later than 30 days prior to the horse show date. If you pay online, a convenience fee of 3% plus $0.30 will be added to each transaction.

Double Points Horse Shows – are double the original show membership fee. (Hunter/Jumper and Show Horses & Ponies only)

Liability Insurance – MHSA must be furnished with evidence of the horse show’s liability insurance policy. A current copy of the certificate of insurance must be sent to the Show Membership Secretary before the competition is held. E-mail copy is permissible.

MHSA Website posting –The website posts all MHSA recognized horse shows free of charge. Once the show recognition fees are paid, send a digital copy of your prize list to the MHSA webmaster. Also, MHSA will send your prize list to the MHSA membership. Just send your prize list to the MHSA Horse Show Membership Secretary in digital format, and it will be forwarded to your exhibitors.

Horse Show Memberships are non-transferable. An individual membership is the property of the named individual regardless of the source of payment and is non-transferable.

Horse Show Membership may be cancelled, but refunds will not be made.

New Horse Shows are vital to the health of any organization so please let us know if you are a new or renewing member. If you are a new horse show member, MHSA welcomes you!

Contributions to the MHSA Stacy Wright Memorial Scholarship Fund (Optional) A college Scholarship is awarded annually to a high school junior or senior MHSA Member, based on application and selection by the Scholarship Committee. Donations are not deductible as a charitable contribution. These funds and all related activities are overseen by the Executive Board and Financial Steering Committee of the MHSA.

Contributions to MHSA Year-End Awards Sponsorship (Optional) goes toward the payment of division awards to be presented at the MHSA annual Awards Banquet.
