The Missouri Horse Shows Association (MHSA) welcomes members and offers many opportunities to be involved and to support MHSA’s mission. MHSA is a resource to help newcomers to Missouri, to encourage participation in equestrian sports, linking equestrian enthusiasts, and providing timely, accurate industry information. With more than 60 years of history, reasonable membership rates and horse and rider nomination fees, a variety of horse shows and events of all types from which to choose, and an emphasis on youth, MHSA offers something for everyone. Members may join throughout the show year. Memberships and nominations received by March 1 earn points for horse shows occurring from the beginning of the competition year, December 1, forward. After March 1, points are earned from the date joined or nomination.
Our Mission Is
the promotion of the breeding, development, exhibition, marketing, and ownership of light horses in and around the State of Missouri. We do this by offering Year-End and High Point Awards in more than 140 divisions to member exhibitors and nominated horses. The Missouri Horse Shows Association was incorporated in 1951 by a group of equine enthusiasts in Boone County, Missouri. MHSA remains one of the most successful, multi-discipline, equestrian organizations in existence today.
