In an effort to attract more professional/open riders, we are re-instating the High Point Hunter Year End Award. This award was not given the last 2 years as it was balanced toward the Amateur classes. We have changed the guidelines to include only Open classes for this award. It’s not too late to join! All memberships received by March 1 will count, retroactive to include all shows on the 2014 calendar, which began in December, 2013.

New rule effective immediately:
High Point Hunter Award will be given at the end of each showing year at the annual awards banquet. The award will be given to the horse that has accumulated the most points in Open MHSA recognized hunter divisions. The points will be counted for the horse, not the rider. The divisions which will count toward this award include Hunter Derbies, High Performance Hunter, Green Working Hunter, Pre-Green Hunter, MHSA Hunter, Open Hunter and Low Hunter.

In addition we have a donation in the amount of $200 for THIS YEAR ONLY as an extra incentive to be awarded to the winner of this High Point Award.
