Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient, Gean Cagle, Passes Away
Katherine Gean Persinger Cagle, 88, of Columbia passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016, with a celebration of her life held in Columbia on May 11.
Gean is remembered by MHSA as the 2004 recipient of the Jeff Shikles, MHSA Lifetime Achievement Award, along with her husband, Virgil.

On March 7 at 1:00pm, Fairview Farm located in New Bloomfield, MO was struck with the most tragic event a horse barn could ever imagine. Fire consumed the Brison’s beautiful barns, home to world champion American Saddlebred horses. Seven horses were lost, as well as three dogs.
