We are pleased to announce that legendary horseman, Redd Crabtree, will be the keynote speaker at the MHSA Celebration of Champions, January 24, 2015, at the Peachtree Banquet Center in Columbia, Missouri. Mr. Crabtree, who rode Missouri’s own Will Shriver to World’s Grand Champion titles for Callaway Hills Stables, will speak about the future of the horse industry from his perspective as a local, regional, and national promoter and protector of the industry.
Mr. Crabtree’s talk is but one of the exciting events scheduled for January 24. Earlier that morning, representatives of all disciplines represented in MHSA will meet for their respective forums, and in the early afternoon, we will celebrate our members’ accomplishments in 2014 as well as the lifelong achievements of the recipients of the MHSA Horse Person of the Year and Jeff Shikles Distinguished Service Awards.
Ticket information, as well as information about MHSA membership, and ballots for Board vacancies and School Horse Hall of Fame, will be posted no later than December 1st. You don’t have to be an MHSA member to join in on a fun and educational day! And guess what? All reservations and memberships received by December 15 will be eligible for a drawing for a new Kindle.
