On June 16-19, Greg Best, a Silver Medalist in Olympic Show Jumping, will be giving clinics again at Fox Run Stables in Columbia. Greg is an internationally renowned SJ instructor who has traveled here to instruct riders for the past 16 years. This will be Greg’s 17th year and unfortunately his last as he will be making the change to a permanent teaching position in Mass. next year.
Mid-Mo’s local United States Pony Club, Hinkson Valley Pony Club, has been sponsoring this clinic for many years. The pony club kids work very hard every year to prepare their horses and the farm for hosting this clinic which draws serious riders from all over Missouri! Fox Run is located just north of Columbia on Akeman Bridge Road and Lora Blair will again be organizing the clinic held this Thursday – Sunday at Fox Run.
This clinic will provide opportunities for instruction in competitive horse riding as well as the all encompassing hard work that entails. Having such a prominent Olympic figure to enhance this presentation makes our horse community very proud!
