The MHSA Stock Seat Medallion Finals were held on November 1st at the Central States Fall Classic horse show. While lacking in quantity, there was no lack of quality in the performance of the riders in this competition. In front of a small but appreciative crowd, the exhibitors performed their rail work flawlessly, and their workouts with accuracy and precision. Cheyenne Gardi, 16 years old from Columbia, MO rode to the Championship, with Grace Parsons, 10 years old, also from Columbia, taking the Reserve. Both riders are under the instruction of Brenda Benner. Congratulations to both of our Stock Seat Medallion winners!
As a result of her well deserved win, Cheyenne will receive a MHSA $500 scholarship to the college of her choice. She also received a MHSA cooler and MHSA grooming tote. Grace also received a MHSA grooming tote as the Reserve Champion.
